The G-20/G7 World Summit in Toronto drew a number of serious protests from groups such as the "black bloc" as leaders from around the world descended on Toronto for talks. The city of Toronto was barricaded and shut down as police in riot gear tries to keep protesters from destroying businesses. Many arrests were made, including members of the media where reports surfaced of police abuse while being detained.
